Modest Loss is Still a Victory
Final election tally: the incumbent keeps his seat 57% to 43% (2,000 vote margin).
I’m happy to have done this well with a campaign that was only conceived 3 months ago. Thanks to everyone who supported this effort.

That was an eloquent and gracious statement, Dave. When it comes to these fundamental issues, continuing the dialogue is what will make the real difference. You would have had a slightly bigger soap box had you been elected, but you’ve got a big microphone and an eager audience as it is. I look forward to hearing everything you have to say over the next four years.
Thanks for everything you did to bring down 1A.

Dave, We have spent several months focusing on our differences. Now, let’s concentrate on those areas we agree on and work together to make this a better community for us all. I agree that the dialogue has been healthy and we both want what is best for Colorado Springs.
